Emma graduated from the University of New Hampshire in 2021 with a bachelor’s degree in Gender Studies. She has been involved in the hospitality industry
since her early teenage years! She started her career as a host and has worked up to a management position in the events department. She has always been passionate about working directly with clients to see their visions and events become a reality. Her contagious bright and bubbly energy makes her someone you want to work with! Inher free time, she volunteers with HAVEN, assisting those affected by domestic violence. She also has the philanthropic experience, being a member of the Alpha Xi Delta sorority at UNH. She and her sisters worked to educate and support those with autism. Emma’s compassionate nature is what sets her apart within the events industry.

Karsan graduated from the University of New Hampshire in 2021 with a bachelor’s degree in Hotel and Hospitality Management. In a sense, The Old Salt cannot get rid of Karsan… Her mother, Kathi Taylor, is one of the three business owners. Karsan has been running around here since she was a child, went off to college, and came back to work in the events department. Coincidentally, Emma and Karsan were both members of Alpha Xi Delta, making their history of working together extensive. She spent most of her time at UNH learning everything there is to know about running a successful business. She hopes to bring the knowledge she’s learned over the years to grow her family’s business.

George has over 35 years of experience in the hospitality industry, working in various positions. Prior to his arrival at The Old Salt, he was the Events Manager at Foster’s Clambakes and Catering in York, Maine. He has been with us for 3 years, managing the dining room as well as working in the events department. On top of this, he was the Executive Director at Prescott Park in Portsmouth, New Hampshire. In his free time, George enjoys writing books or plays, whatever sparks his interest that evening. While he isn’t busy planning an event, he throws one of his own events at his beautiful barn. A dedicated member of our team, George is a great person to have to execute your events!
